Santos Perez

Mercedes- Santos Perez 78, passed away on Sunday, September 21,2025 at her residence in Mercedes with family by her side. Mrs. Perez was a loving wife and mother to her son. She was born on July 12,1947 to Santos and Eduviges Garcia in Edcouch, Texas. She is proceeded in death by her sister Dominga Carrillo and brother Ignacio Garcia. She is survived by her husband Geronimo Perez and son Jesus Perez. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 24,2025 from 4pm to 9pm at Amador Funeral Home 213 W. Santa Rosa Ave in Edcouch. The family will hold a rosary at 7pm that same evening. Funeral mass will be on Thursday, September 25,2025 at 1pm at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Weslaco. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch.
