Martinez was born on June 7,1955 to Antonio and Mercedes Martinez in Birdsnest,Virginia. He is survived by his son Roberto Martinez Rivera and niece Yescenia Martinez. He will be cremated at Val Verde Crematory in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
