Ramona Prado

Santa Rosa - Ramona Prado 91, entered the Lord's Heavenly Kingdom on Tuesday, July 23,2024 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas surrounded by family. She was born in Santa Rosa on October 4,1932 to Antonia Garza. She was active member of the Comunidades de Base. She lived a life full of joy and love, dedicated to her family. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and wonderful twin sister and friend. Ramona leaves behind to cherish her memory her children San Juanita (Hector) Garza, Lidia (Carlos+) Torres, Oralia (Rojelio+) Flores, Rosa (Ralph) Rubio, Bernardo (Sylvia+) Prado, Jorge (Cris) Prado, Monico Jr. (Veronica) Prado, and Tony (Nilda) Prado. 33 Grandchildren, 78 Great-Grandchildren and 13 Great Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 25,2024 from 4pm to 9pm at Amador Funeral Home 213 W. Santa Rosa Ave in Edcouch. Viewing will also be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 2pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch. A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 10am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, and burial will follow at Santo Nombre Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Pallbearers will be the following Marc, Eli, Albert, Jorge Jr., Tony Jr. and Monico Prado. Johnathon Rubio, Nicholas Trevino and Eric Flores. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch.
