Julia Alvarez

San Juan - Julia Alvarez 77, passed away on Thursday, October 23,2025 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Mrs. Alvarez was born on December 20,1947 to Pedro and Margarita Alvarez in Hidalgo, Tamps. She is proceeded in death by her parents, and she is survived by her husband Candido Martinez, sons Pedro and Candido Martinez, daughters Lorena and Olga Martinez, grandchildren Pedro, Karla, Victor, David, Darian and Derick Martinez and Luna Juarez.  Viewing will be held on Monday, October 27,2025 from 4pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Amador Funeral Home 1201 E. Ferguson Ave in Pharr. A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, October 28,2025 at 10am at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr. Burial will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
