Pharr - Jovita Gonzalez 80, passed away on Saturday, January 14,2023 at her residence in Pharr. She was born on August 17,1942 to Acarido and Flor Elizalde in Alamo,Texas. Mrs. Gonzalez is proceeded in death by her Brothers Joel, Abenego, Inocente and Marcimiliano Elizalde and One Sister Sara Elizalde. She is survived by her loving Husband Laurencio Gonzalez, Sons Gerardo Gonzalez and Laurencio( Adriana) Gonzalez Jr., Daughter Elda (David) Martinez,Brother Gabriel ( Penny) Elizalde, 8Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, January 18,2023 from 4pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm Chapel of Angels at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, January 19,2023 at 10:00 am at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Pharr and burial will follow at Palm Valley Cemetery in Pharr. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
