Jose Angel Reyes

La Villa - Jose Angel Reyes 87, passed away Monday, March 16,2026 at DHR Hospital in Edinburg. He was born on November 1,1938 to Amador and Zenida Reyes in Monte Morelos, Nuevo Leon. Mr. Reyes was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his family. He is proceeded in death by his wife Petra Suarez Reyes, son Jose Angel Reyes Jr., Juan Reyes and daughters Francisca Reyes and Belia Reyes. brother Juan Reyes and sister Lile Reyes. He is survived by his sons Pedro Reyes, Isidoro Reyes, Vicente Reyes and Mario Reyes, daughters Leticia Reyes, Virgina Reyes, Maria Castaneda Reyes, Maria de Los Angeles Castaneda, Yolanda Reyes and Angie Reyes, brother Antonio Reyes, 36 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 19,2026 from 4pm to 9pm at Amador Funeral Home 213 W. Santa Rosa Ave in Edcouch. The family will have a rosary at 7pm that same evening. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 20,2026 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Villa. Burial will follow at Anahuac Cemetery in Edcouch. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch.
