Santa Rosa - John Ruiz Sr. 66, passed away on Sunday, November 24,2024 at Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen. He was born on August 22,1958 to Carlos and Josefina Najar in Bowling Green, Ohio. He is survived by his Wife Juanita Ruiz, Sons Juan Jr., Jerry Ruiz and Jason (Mirna) Ruiz, Daughter Josie (Enrique) Badillo, Brothers Roberto and Carlos Najar Jr., Sisters Rose Mary (Abraham) Martinez, Monse Najar, Virginia Guajardo, Lydia Colchado and Carmen Gonzalez, 19 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Friday, November 29,2024 from 4pm to 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm at Amador Funeral Home 213 W. Santa Rosa Street in Edcouch. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, November 30,2024 at 10am at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch. Burial will follow at Santo Numbre Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador - Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch.
