Edinburg - Gerardo Velasquez 59, passed away on Saturday, July 18,2020 at DHR in Edinburg. Mr. Velasquez was born on August 28,1960 to Galdino and Maria Velasquez in Plain View,Texas. He is survived by his parents Galdino and Maria Velasquez, Wife Blanca Velasquez, Daughters Debra Saldana, Rose Marie Herrera, and Elaine Velasquez, Brothers Galdino Jr, and Ricardo Velasquez, Sisters San Juana Velasquez, Rosanna Rivera, Martina Velasquez and Maria Velasquez, Grandchildren 14 and Great-Grandchildren 1. Viewing will take place on Thursday, JUly 23,2020 from 5pm to 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr. Cremation will follow at Val Verde Crematory in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
