Ester Navarro

McAllen - Ester Navarro 90, passed away on Monday, April 27,2026 at her residence with family by her side. Mrs. Navarro was born on January 27,1936 to Jose and Francisca Cano, in McAllen, Texas. She was a loving wife and mother to her family. She is survived by her sons Max Navarro Jr., and Jose Arturo Navarro, daughters Sylvia DE La Rosa, Josefina Cerda, Miroslava Martinez and Leticia Ortega, sisters Maria Herrera, Estela Cisneros and Yolanda Flores. She had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Friday, May 1,2026 from 5pm to 9pm at Amador Funeral Home 1201 E. Ferguson Ave in Pharr. The family will also have a prayer service at 7pm that same evening. Cremation will follow at Val Verde Cemetery in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
