Pharr - Enrique Ayala 96, passed away on Monday, May 18,2026 at Briarcliff Nursing Home in McAllen. Ayala was born on January 26,1930 to Martin and Angela Ayala in Weslaco, Texas. Mr. Ayala was a loving husband and father to his family. He is proceeded in death by his sons Martin and Justo Ayala, brothers Guillermo and Panfilo Ayala, sisters Sara and Elvira Ayala. He is survived by his loving wife Amelia Ayala, sons Fernando, Alberto, Joaquin and Jaime Ayala. daughters Angela Quintanilla, Bertha Alaffa and Amelia Ayala. 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Ayala will have viewing on Wednesday, May 20,2026 from 5pm to 9pm at Amador Funeral Home 1201 E. Ferguson Ave in Pharr. The family will have a rosary at 7pm that same evening. Funeral mass will be on Thursday, May 21,2026 at 10am at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr. Burial will follow at San Juan Cemetery in San Juan. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
