Alamo - David Root 72, passed away on Monday, May 12,2025 at South Texas Health Hospital in McAllen. He was born on July 3,1952 to Lavern Root and Mary Short. He is survived by his Mother Mary Short, Son Christopher Root, Daughters Joie Brokaw and Serena Root, Brothers Danny, Gary and Jerry Root, Sister Sherri Root and 10 Grandchildren. Mr. Root will be cremated at Val Verde Crematory in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch.
