San Juan - Daniel Salinas 48, passed away on Sunday, August 8,2021 at DHR Hospital in Edinburg. Daniel was born in Eagle Lake, Texas to Juan Jose Salinas and Livia De La Cruz on December 27,1972. He married Monica Trevino-Salinas and had 3 beautiful children. Noah Daniel Salinas, Matthew Christian Salinas and Mia Bellah Faith Salinas. He graduated from PSJA High School and The University of Texas- Pan American. Daniel was a joyous person with the biggest heart and gave all his genuine love to his family and friends. Daniel was a person who had a great spirit and so ready to always be a helping hand to anyone. He enjoyed traveling, singing, listening to all genres of music and loved to always try new things. Daniel was a loyal fan to his NFL Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders and a true spiritual believer in enjoying even the smallest things in life. Daniel would fill a room with laughter as everyone knew him to always have the best jokes at the right time. Daniel oved everyone but his greatest love were his beautiful wife and children. He was an amazing husband and an even more amazing father. Daniel is proceeded in death by his wife Monica Trevino-Salinas, his mother Livia De La Cruz and his paternal and maternal grandparents. Daniel is survived by his children Noah Daniel and Matthew Christian Salinas, and Mia Bellah Faith Salinas, His father Juan Jose Salinas, Brother Juan Jose Salinas Jr., Sister Linda Ann Salinas, mother-in-law Lydia J. Trevino, brother-in-law David Trevino, sister-in-law Erica Trevino, Crista Trevino-Garcia, Fabiola Trevino, Yvette Trevino, Andrea Trevino-Tate, and Deborah Trevino-Fairley and lots of nieces and newphews who he loved so genuinely. A memorial service for Daniel Edward Salinas will be held at a later time coordinated by his family. Daniel was cremated at Val Verde Crematory in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
