Cesareo Diaz Zaleta

Alamo - Cesareo Diaz Zaleta 72, passed away on Wednesday, April 22,2026 at his residence with family by his side. Cesareo was a loving husband, father and brother. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren, and he loved to go fishing with his friends. He was born on October 26,1953 to Cesario and Brigida Diaz in Monterrey, Mexico. Cesareo is proceeded in death by his parents, brother Andres Diaz, sister Auroa Cipra. He is survived by his loving wife Maria Magdalena Diaz, sons Andres and Cesario Diaz, daughters Viviana, Elizabeth and Magdalena Diaz, brother Francisco (Nora) Diaz, sisters Amelia Vasquez, Alicia Trevino, Maria del Pilar Cervantes and Lucia Guadalupe (Humberto) Castillo. 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held on Monday, April 27,2026 from 4pm to 9pm at Amador Funeral Home 1201 E. Ferguson Ave in Pharr. The family will have a rosary at 7pm that same evening. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 28,2026 at 10am at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Burial will follow at Val Verde Cemetery in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
