Passed Away October 18, 2025

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Carlos Najar Jr., who passed away on October 18, 2025, at Harlingen Medical Center. He was born On September 2,1968 to Carlos and Carmen Najar in Ohio.

Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos Najar Sr. and Maria del Carmen Najar.

He is survived by his two loving daughters, Casey Najar and Dayla Najar; his beloved grandson, Xavier Mosqueda; and his devoted sisters: Maria del Carmen Gonzalez, Rose Mary Martinez, Monse Najar, Lydia Colehado, Maria Herrera, and Hilda Herrera. Carlos will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Amador Funeral Home, 213 West Santa Rosa Ave., Edcouch, Texas. A family-led prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Chapel service will be held on Friday, October 24,2025 at 10am at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch. 

Carlos will be laid to rest at Santo Nombre Cemetery in Santa Rosa.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador, Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Edcouch.
