McAllen - Blanca Elva Gomez 74, passed away on Sunday, October 19,2025 at DHR Hospital in Edinburg. Mrs. Gomez was born on January 11,1951 to Ernesto and Maria Rodriguez in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Mrs. Gomez was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to all who knew her. She is proceeded in death by her father Ernesto Cardenas Rodriguez and husband Juan Gomez. She is survived by her mother Maria de Los Angeles Rodriguez, Children Alma Gomez de Cantu, Juan Manuel Gomez Cardenas, Guadalupe Gomez de Pinera, Adriana Gomez de Davila and Adrian Gomez Cardenas, 9 brothers and sisters. She will be cremated at Val Verde Crematory in Donna. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
