Blanca Barrera

San Juan - Blanca Barrera 74, passed away on Tuesday, April 28,2026 at Edinburg Regional Hospital in Edinburg. Mrs. Barrera was born on February 28,1952 to Loreto and Maria Barrera. She was a loving mother and a loving person with a smile to all who knew her. She is proceeded in death by her parents Loreto and Maria Barrera, brothers Eliseo and Noe Barrera. She is survived by her sons Juan, Cesar, Miguel and Christopher Garcia, brothers Loreto, Armando and Victor Barrera, sisters Maria Guadalupe, Maria del Rosario, Jacinda Alicia and Maria del Carmen, grandchildren Megan, Emily, Patricia and Destiny Garcia. Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 30,2026 from 5pm to 9pm at Amador Funeral Home 1201 E. Ferguson Ave in Pharr. The family will have a prayer service at 7pm that same evening. A chapel service will held on Friday, May 1,2026 at 11am at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador- Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
