Pharr - Abelardo Rodriguez 78, passed away on Thursday, April 24,2025 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Mr. Rodriguez was born on February 20,1947 to Antonio Rodriguez and Manuela Ibanez in Reynosa, Mexico. He is proceeded in death by his wife Victoria Rodriguez, and he is survived by his Sons Abelardo (Maricela) Rodriguez, Azarel (Damaris) Rodriguez, Daughters Monica Rodriguez, Veronica (Isaiah) Navarro, Claudia (Jerry) Ramirez, Victoria Rodriguez, Brothers Alejandro and Jose Angel Rodriguez, Sister Alejandria Hernandez, 15 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. The Rodriguez Family will have viewing on Tuesday, April 29,2025 from 4pm to 9pm at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr. The Rodriguez family will also have viewing on Wednesday, April 30,2025 from 4pm to 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm at Amador Funeral Home 1201 E. Ferguson Ave in Pharr. A chapel service will be held on Thursday, May 1,2025 at 2pm at Amador Funeral Home 1201 E. Ferguson Ave in Pharr. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in McAllen. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dimas L. Amador-Funeral Director at Amador Funeral Home in Pharr.
